Who Aldelo POS Is For
Aldelo is built around restaurant workflow, so it fits venues where the order, the kitchen and the check have to stay in sync:
- Full-service restaurants: table layouts, course firing, split checks, tips and server reporting. Learn more about our restaurant POS systems.
- Bars and pubs: fast drink entry, open tabs, pre-authorization and shift close-out. See our bar POS system options.
- Quick service and cafés: short menus, fast repeat orders, takeout and online ordering.
- Pizzerias and delivery: order routing, delivery details and repeat customer history.
If you are comparing systems, we can look at Aldelo next to Clover, SkyTab and other options before you decide. You can also compare restaurant POS systems.
Which Aldelo Are You Looking At
Aldelo is sold in more than one configuration, and the names cause most of the confusion. The Windows-based restaurant management solution is the traditional setup for full-service venues with a fixed counter and several stations.
Aldelo Express is the cloud version, used on tablets, and it is quicker to launch in smaller venues and for takeout and mobile ordering. Both cover order entry, payments, inventory and reporting; the difference is where the software runs and how the venue is staffed.
Tell us your floor plan and station count and we will tell you which configuration fits and what it changes in the price. For a broader overview, see our Aldelo features and plans.
Payments with Aldelo
Card payments run through the POS, so the payment processing setup matters as much as the software. An Aldelo station accepts EMV chip cards, contactless and mobile wallets, and the processing side is billed separately from the POS itself.
If you already process cards, send us your current statement and we will compare the credit card processing rates before you change anything. If you are opening, we will set the processing up together with the POS so the two are configured once.
Aldelo POS Cost: What Affects the Price
An Aldelo quote is built from three parts:
- Hardware: terminal, receipt printer, cash drawer, card reader, and a kitchen printer or kitchen display system if the venue needs one. Explore additional POS hardware. The station on this page starts at $2,499.00.
- Software: the Aldelo license or subscription, depending on which configuration you run.
- Payment processing: card processing rates and fees, billed separately from the POS.
The final number depends on the number of stations, the configuration and your processing setup. Send us your venue type and station count and we will prepare a full quote.

Smart Payment Solutions builds the menu, configures the hardware and payment settings, sets up printer and kitchen routing, and trains the staff on the first shifts.
